Today, The Bloom Organization announced the closing of a new joint-venture partnership between the Same Day Surgery Center (Edison, NJ) and a joint-venture comprised of Hackensack Meridian Health and United Surgical Partners International (“USPI”).
Same Day Surgery Center is a two (2) OR, multi-specialty ASC that performs predominantly urology, orthopedic, and pain management outpatient surgical procedures.
In 2015, USPI and Tenet have combined forces to create the nation’s largest ambulatory surgery provider. Their combined network includes over 400 facilities across the United States, including ambulatory surgery centers, surgical hospitals, imaging centers, and urgent care centers through its CareSpot and MedPost brands, serving over 2.7 million patients each year. Together, their partnerships includes over 50 health systems and more than 9,000 physicians.
