The Bloom Organization Facilitates Sale Of Atlanta’s Optimum Surgery Center To USPI

The Bloom Organization announces its client, Peachtree Spine & Pain Physicians ASC, LLC, d/b/a Optimum Surgery Center, has been acquired by United Surgical Partners International (USPI).
USPI purchased a majority interest in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in a transaction that closed in February, 2018.
Optimum Surgery Center, located in Atlanta, opened in 2005. The facility is a licensed, Medicare-certified, single-specialty pain management ASC. It has five physician owners and seven physician utilizers who perform more than 4,600 cases annually in two operating rooms.
USPI, headquartered in Addison, Texas, is national developer and operator of ASCs and surgical hospitals in combination with Tenet Healthcare Corp. Their combined network includes about 20 imaging centers and more than 90 urgent care facilities, 265 short-stay surgical facilities, 50 health systems and 4,000 physicians across 28 U.S. states.
