The Bloom Organization (“Bloom”), a premier middle-market sell-side advisor, today announced that its client, Timothy Groth MD PC (“Groth”), has formed a new administrative services organization (“ASO”) to provide best-in-class administrative support to leading pain management practices.

The ASO was formed in partnership with Confluence Healthcare Partners (“CHP”), a premier growth equity group focused exclusively on the healthcare services market.  The investment represents CHP’s first in Pain Management and eighth in their active portfolio.

“Our team worked closely with The Bloom Organization to canvas the market and find an investor who shared our vision for a best-in-class pain management MSO,” said Dr. Timothy D. Groth, founding physician at Timothy Groth MD PC.  “We look forward to working with CHP to execute on key initiatives to grow our business by providing operational, compliance, administrative, financial and billing services to more pain management groups,” added Timothy P. Groth, CEO at the practice.

When asked what most excites them about partnering with CHP, Mr. Groth continued, “We are excited to leverage their team’s industry knowledge and experience in scaling healthcare businesses. CHP’s partners [led by John Hudson and Dr. Hayes Woollen] have a deep understanding of the business, and more importantly, the importance of quality patient care.”

Groth’s legal counsel was led by Polsinelli’s Jonathan Henderson, Co-Chair of Healthcare Mergers and Acquisitions. CHP was represented by McGuireWoods.
