The Bloom Organization (“Bloom”), a leading healthcare investment banking firm providing M&A advisory services, is pleased to announce the closing of a new joint-venture (“JV”) partnership between the Delray Beach Surgery Center (“DBSC”) and United Surgical Partners International (“USPI”).
Founded over twenty-five years ago, DBSC is a state-of-the-art multispecialty ambulatory surgery center (“ASC”) consisting of four (4) operating rooms and almost 9,000 square feet. DBSC has 20+ physician partners that specialize in a wide array of surgical specialties that include, but not limited to, orthopedics, ophthalmology, spine, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, and GI.
Bob Goettling, Principal at The Bloom Organization, said “ASC transactions used to be relatively ‘clean and easy’ deals to negotiate. However, the consolidation activity taking place in physician practices, health systems, and private equity has made ASC transactions more difficult to navigate. Our firm’s 30+ years of experience working exclusively on healthcare transactions is becoming more valuable to our clients than ever.”
