Henry Bloom founded The Bloom Organization in 1990. Since then, Mr. Bloom has accumulated more than 25 years of experience in advising physicians, group practices, ASC development companies, private equity firms, hospitals, and other types of healthcare operators and investors.
Today, The Bloom Organization, an employee-owned company (ESOP), is the preeminent advisor, development partner, and investment banker for physician practices. Mr. Bloom was an early pioneer in the surgery center industry space both on the development and transactional sides. Mr. Bloom is a co-founder and sits on the Board of G.B. LTD, a real estate holding company in New Jersey, which owns shopping centers, office buildings, and residential communities. Bob Goettling has thirty years of experience in the healthcare industry. He primarily focuses on the transactional aspects of physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), physician joint venture projects with health systems, private equity firms, and strategic buyers throughout the United States. Since 2007, Mr. Goettling has led The Bloom Organization’s transaction services team. He is a licensed investment banker and securities principal. Mr. Goettling has been instrumental to The Bloom Organization’s mergers and acquisitions advisory group, which has become the leading physicians sell-side advisory firm closing over $10 billion in transactions.
Before joining The Bloom Organization, Mr. Goettling co-founded NovaMed, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVA), one of the original practice management firms in the 1990s, where he held a variety of senior-level executive positions during his twelve years with the company, including senior vice president of corporate development. Mr. Goettling had operational and development responsibilities and conducted numerous acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers while heading NovaMed’s development team for over ten years. Mr. Goettling also had operational responsibilities for ASCs and physician practices during his years with NovaMed. After joining Henry Bloom, as the two pioneers of sell-side physician representation, they represented HIG Capital and its ASC company, Surgery Partners (Nasdaq: SGRY), which acquired NovaMed in 2011.
Several years before establishing NovaMed, Mr. Goettling founded (and eventually sold) an optical consulting company, an optical laboratory, and practiced law with Katten Muchin & Zavis in Chicago. Mr. Goettling received his B.S.B.A. with honors in economics from Creighton University in 1985 and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1988. He regularly speaks at many ASC and healthcare conferences and is an expert on physician-led healthcare transactions.

During his tenure, he has closed 60 healthcare transactions representing more than $3 Billion in enterprise value. Prior to joining The Bloom Organization, Mr. Liberty served for over two years as an Analyst with Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America (ASCOA). ASCOA is an ambulatory surgery center management company that acquires, develops, and operates surgery centers in partnership with physicians.
Mr. Liberty is a graduate of Colby College with a degree in Economics. He played football and baseball during his time at Colby. He resides in Fairfield, CT with his wife and 3 children. Steven is a Senior Vice President at the Bloom Organization where he oversees the Miami deal team and is responsible for all aspects of founder and physician-led M&A transactions including origination, transaction structuring, financing, and execution. He is currently leading the firm’s value-based and home-health care initiatives.
Prior to joining, Steven worked at Ardent Investors, a private equity firm focused on acquiring and developing lower middle market businesses. Prior to Ardent, Steven worked on HIG Capital’s Advantage U.S. Buyout Fund focusing on control investments in stable, growth-oriented companies and supporting portfolio companies by executing strategic operational initiatives. Prior to business school, Steven worked at Prince Capital Partners, a family investment office focused on private equity and multi-strategy fund investments. Steven began his career in corporate accounting and is a licensed CPA.

David is a Senior Vice President at Bloom, where he leverages a strong background in business development and investment banking. David focuses on transactions and strategic initiatives in the Healthcare and Business Services verticals at Bloom.
Prior to joining Bloom, David worked in the Business Services group at Moelis & Company, an investment bank based in New York, where he was involved in transactions exceeding $2 billion in enterprise value. His work included sell-side and buy-side M&A, leveraged buyouts, and debt and equity financings.
Previously, as Vice President at Wheels Up, a private aviation company now owned by Delta Airlines, David was instrumental in managing two private placements that collectively raised over $200 million, leading Wheels Up to its public listing on the NYSE.
David holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.S. from New York University. He is a certified member of the New York State Bar and the American Bar Association. Hallie brings extensive marketing experience across B2C and B2B to identify new market opportunities, conceive and implement high impact marketing plans, and negotiate strategic partnerships to drive growth. In addition, Hallie is a licensed investment banker responsible for supporting clients on both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions. She focuses on all phases of the advisory process, including sector identification, origination, negotiations, and deal execution.

Bill Simon has developed, managed and syndicated surgery centers on the West Coast for over 20 years and has earned the reputation of one of the leading surgery center experts. In addition to developing numerous physician joint venture surgery centers over this time, he is also nationally recognized authority on all aspects of the surgery center business and leads the Bloom Organization efforts for the Western US.
In 1991, Bill developed his first project, the Pain & Rehabilitation Medical Group, an outpatient rehabilitation facility located in the South Bay of Los Angeles. Since then, Bill has successfully overseen the development of multiple medical groups and facilities, representing all outpatient surgical and procedural specialties. ASCs founded by Bill include: Coast Surgery Center, The Center for Ambulatory Surgical Treatment, Pacific Endoscopy Center of the South Bay, Fullerton Surgical Center, Surgical Center of San Diego, and Outpatient Surgery Center of Del Mar. In addition, Bill founded Innovative Health Care Management, the preeminent surgery center management and development firm in southern California.
Bill received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from San Diego State University and then obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Western State University School of Law. He currently lives in San Diego. In addition to his work with IHM, Bill also co-founded Medical Finance, LLC, a premier factoring company for hospitals and ASCs that provides lien based surgical services to personal injury clients.
Prior to joining The Bloom Organization, Mr. Russo served two years as an Accounting Specialist for the University of Florida Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). The University of Florida CTSI was founded in 2008 to speed the translation of scientific discoveries into improved health by strengthening the university’s ability to conduct clinical and translational research. At CTSI, Mr. Russo’s primary responsibilities included analysis of services provided, update monthly ledgers, oversee budget compliance for department, and coordinate new intern training.
Since joining The Bloom Organization in January 2014, Mr. Russo has worked on more than 15 ASC projects, including development, syndications, acquisitions, and sales. His primary responsibilities include analyzing surgical data, financial statement analysis, valuation of ASCs, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.

Scott is a Vice President at The Bloom Organization where he is responsible
for supporting clients on both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions. He
facilitates the valuation, due diligence, structuring, and execution of
transactions across the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining The Bloom Organization, Scott worked at Piper Sandler in
the Healthcare Investment Banking Group. While at Piper Sandler, his team
focused on advising clients in the life sciences and diagnostics sector on
M&A transactions as well as equity and debt financings. Prior to business
school, Scott worked at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), a top orthopedic
hospital in New York. At HSS, Scott worked with physician and executive
leadership on strategic planning and operational improvement projects.
Scott earned his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, his M.Eng from
Cornell University and B.S. from University of Miami. While at University of
Miami, Scott was a member of the varsity baseball team for the 2011 and 2012
seasons.

Prior to joining the Bloom Organization, Graham worked at UBS Securities LLC on their Strategic Equity Solutions Group. While at UBS, his team was responsible for underwriting convertible bonds and derivatives as well as advising company founders on equity stake management. Graham began his career in Private Wealth Management and is a Chartered Financial Analyst®.
Graham received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida. He is a member the UJA Federation of New York, where he actively participates in community projects and fundraising events.

Tyler is a Senior Associate at The Bloom Organization. His focus is on financial statement analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution.
Prior to joining the Bloom team, Tyler worked at PwC on the Deals Advisory team. At PwC he advised on Capital Market transactions across a variety of industries including Healthcare. Prior to PwC, he was at Elevate ENT, an Audax-backed ENT platform that has led the ENT space in acquisition growth since 2019. At Elevate, Tyler was a member of the M&A team where he assisted in the financial integration of acquisitions.
Tyler received his B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Kean University in 2018 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Prior to Kean, Tyler attended Cornell University where he studied applied economics and management. While at Cornell University, Tyler was a member of the wrestling team.
