The Bloom Organization announces its client, Tricity Pain Associates (“TCP”) and Interventional Pain Management (“IPM”), has been acquired by Spindletop Capital Management (SCM).
This transaction and growth capital partnership results in the formation of a new pain management MSO (management services organization) and platform through which SCM and the physicians of Tricity Pain Associates and Interventional Pain Management will grow the company.
Tricity Pain Associates and Interventional Pain Management (www.tricitypaindoc.com and www.sapaindoc.com) with a network of 11 clinical locations and ambulatory surgery centers in and around the San Antonio, Texas, area, was founded in 2004 by Urfan Dar, MD. Dr. Dar, who has been in private practice in San Antonio since 1994, will serve as the CEO of the new MSO.
SCM, based in Austin, Texas, is a healthcare growth equity and growth buyout firm focused on providing expansion capital for commercial stage healthcare companies. The firm, founded in 2011, was led in this transaction by Dr. Evan Melrose and Mitun Ranka.
