The Bloom Organization Advises Antheia Gynecology in Acquisition by Summit Health

The Bloom Organization (“Bloom”) served as exclusive sell-side investment banker and advisor to Antheia Gynecology (“Antheia”) in its acquisition by Summit Health (“Summit”), the largest independent multispecialty, outpatient-focused physician group in the United States. The transaction closed on April 24, 2023.
Antheia Gynecology operates in East Windsor, New Jersey and specializes in individualized and attentive gynecologic ambulatory and minimally invasive surgical care. The practice was founded by Dr. Helen Simigiannis, a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OBGYN), whose expertise and market presence were highly attractive to Summit Health as the organization continues its geographic and specialty expansion.
The practice joins one of the largest independent provider groups in the United States, formed by the transformative combination of Summit Health-CityMD and VillageMD earlier this year. The merged medical group’s network of 4,100+ providers across nearly 700 locations in 26 markets serves millions of patients, bringing together Summit Health-CityMD’s expertise delivering multispecialty and connected care and VillageMD’s value-based care model.
